Maison Citadine was born from the two.

For a long time, I saw fashion drawing lines that were too narrow:
bodies considered "ideal",
colours deemed "acceptable",
silhouettes considered "acceptable", passing trends dictating what women should embody.

Amidst these veiled injunctions, one thing became clear:
Fashion had lost sight of its noblest essence, that which unites, welcomes, and brings people together.

And amidst this normative clamor, I understood one essential thing:
Fashion had forgotten its most beautiful role: that of bringing people together.

The birth of a movement, much more than a brand

My name is Sophie.
And I created Maison Citadine because I dreamed of a house where every woman could recognize herself, assert herself, and feel unconditionally beautiful.

Not a cookie-cutter beauty.
Not a prescribed elegance.
But a free, embodied, audacious style.

I no longer wanted these codes that dictate:
• what to wear or avoid,
• what "suits" a morphology,
• what is "appropriate" for a certain age,
• which should define our lifestyle.

I wanted to create a fashion that doesn't judge.
A fashion that welcomes.
A fashion that elevates.

I long rejected the idea that fashion had to chase after seasons.
So I decided to create a brand that offers timeless pieces, always available:

• and many other everyday essentials.
